My work has been a lifetime of careful observation.

Drawing on an extensive archive of found objects and inanimate materials, I observe, reconstruct and create images – using collage, mixed media, and oils.

Each graphic composition tells a story. The reassembled surface can begin first with a figurative subject before diving into deeper emotional abstraction.

My paintings often depict an intimate portrayal of the every day, through countless repeated marks and remembered actions. These works are the vivid emergence of a flower after many seasons, the result of a slow and deliberate germination.
